We celebrated Chinese New Year on Friday. Before today's celebrations, the children brought many decorative items to 'dress up' our classroom! They also made CNY cards for each other and I used them to line the interior and exterior of the windows. I must say we really enjoyed learning in a festive looking environment!
Although the day's concert was cancelled, I believe we had an equally good time eating the goodies that Daniel and Letitia brought to share with us. Thank you! We also took many photos as we were all dressed up in ethnic costumes! After recess, the children were also given a chance to make and eat their own glutinous rice balls! Enjoy the photos!
