Our Cool and Crunchy Smiley Snacks - 17th July 09

In the story, 'Food Fit for a King', the King called on a chef, Charlie McBing and informed him that he would like to go to his place to try his food. Charlie McBing went into a frenzy trying to find out what food the King and his kids and cats would like to eat. In the end, the King was not able to come and Charlie McBing gave his food to the common people.

For the learning experience, the children had to make Smiley Peanut Butter snacks and invite the King's children to try their snacks!

I bought the relevant ingredients and got the children to bring their own if they could. They had lots of fun making their smiley face snacks and even wanted to have a food fight. *faint*

After their snack making experience, we wrote a class writing together (below)

Enjoy our story and the photos too!

Dear King’s children,

We would like to invite you to our school, Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Primary School to try out our handmade biscuits. They are called 2 Agape's Cool and Crunchy Smiley Biscuits.

We used raisins, peanut butter and round biscuits to make our snacks. First, we used the spreader to spread the peanut butter on the biscuit. Then we placed some raisins on the biscuit to make a smiley face. We called our snacks, “Smiley 2 Agape Cool and Crunchy Biscuits” because they are made by our class especially for you. They are created to put a happy smile on your face.

I think you will enjoy the snacks that we prepared because they taste scrumptious and you cannot find them anywhere else in the whole world! Please inform us if you are coming. Our phone number is 99125290.

Yours sincerely,
2 Agape
