Racial Harmony Day

We celebrated Racial Harmony Day yesterday. The theme for this year is ‘Who’s My Neighbour’. The pupils were given the freedom to wear their traditional costumes to school and 14 of our Agapians took that opportunity to throw on their best suits.

One of the highlight of this event was the Rangoli Making that was carried out in the Concourse. It was the biggest of its kind and through this activity, we hope that pupils will understand and appreciate the role they play in working together towards promoting racial and religious harmony. The value of Excellence is also shown through their efforts while the values of Friendship and Respect through working together and taking turns.

The pupils had an extension of recess (45 mins) and they had a ball of a time at the game booths playing Chapteh, Five Stones and the Chopsticks Game.

They were also treated to a variety of food at the food sampling booths. Some yummy goodies included Muah Chee, Kacang Putih, Kueh Lapis and Satay!
