Not to worry about the camera.
Letitia was given this 'hand me down' camera for he birthday by her favourite Unc and Aunt. She was thrilled as she now can see the stuff she takes...She's been a real camera buff for since last year and we managed to get her a kid camera but it did not have a viewfinder. So after a few attempts, she was frustrated. Now with this little 'oldie but goodie', she's happy to nap away....an extention from that, she's now learning to scrapbook this holidays!
After further investigation, we found that one of the batteries may have passed it's use by date and have 'swollen'. We didn't mean to scare you, we had no idea as well until she brought it back home. We had to go back to the owners to find out. So our next task is to find replacement batteries..
Thanks for all the coordinating of the trip to underwater world. It looked great. We've not made the trip as coming from SYDNEY, we love the Sydney Aquarium and wasn't sure if we should spend the $$ to go. So the school saved us the trip and made it educational.
Hope you have a great rest....you fully deserve it. I wanted so badly to get you a bunch of flowers to cheer you up but not sure if it is acceptable! You've done amazingly well with the kids....and so MUCH MUCH more over such little time!

Phew! I really thought I damaged the camera. Letitia told me her dad says the battery just got stuck so I hope the battery has 'popped out' by now >.<
I do enjoy doing all that I do for the kids. They are so appreciative and affectionate towards me. Much simpler and carefree than us, adults =p
