We had our 4th official Learning Journey on 24th August to the Mint Museum of Toys! The museum was a narrow 5-storey building but packed with so much interesting information! The children learnt what 'MINT' stands for (Moment of Imagination and Nostalgia with Toys), the origins of the word 'Robot' (from the Czech word 'Robota' which means 'forced labour'), the differences between past robots and modern toy robots and Mickey Mouse from USA & UK, the materials that are banned in the creation of toys and lots more other facts!
I would like to thank Mrs Chan (Jun Lin's Mom), Mr Wong (Grace's Dad), Mrs Wong (Steffi's Mom) and Mrs Vasanthi (Neha's Mom) for accompanying us for the trip. Enjoy the photos below~
